Lafayette, LA February 7, 2020 — American PetroLog began their new program of collecting used and work American Flags at the beginning of 2020. The first donation box was placed at Red Lerille’s Health & Racquet Club and we’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the community. In such a short period of time, we have been entrusted with over 250 worn American Flags from the people of Lafayette, Louisiana that we have disposed of properly, with honor and dignity. Jeff Colonna, President & CEO stated “we appreciate the support of Red Lerille in helping us bring to fruition our idea of retiring American Flags with reverence. It is in our company’s DNA to show respect for our country, our servicemen and our Flag, so partnering with a class act like Red, who has the same values, has been very rewarding for us.”
